Well, this may be too late, but here goes: This list is scary because it’s all songs that I used to be into when I lived in Philly. But then again, I drove a ton back then, so all my driving songs are from that time. God I don’t miss commuting!
The Distance : Cake
I got pulled over on a deserted road in the middle of rural New Jersey for doing 70 in a 45 while listening to that! I had no idea where the cop came from or anything. I was completely oblivious. I could have been doing 100.
Born To Run : Bruce Springsteen
“Sprung from cages out on highway 9, chrome wheeled, fuel injected and steppin’ out over the line”. Can’t say enough about this driving song.
Anything, Anything (I’ll Give You) : Dramarama
Rolling : Soul Coughing
I-76 : G-Love and Special Sauce
Kick Some Ass - Stroke 9 (Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back Soundtrack)
Ooops! Forgot 2.
Favorite Shirt : The Figgs
Really Scrape the Sky : Kingmaker
