Mean & Moody Podcast and My Top Five Sexy Songs

Once again, time difference and a shoddy internet connection mean this weeks podcast is a little late but well worth the wait! Check out our beautiful collection of brooding, menacing, moody tunes here.

Next we have a very cheeky podcast. I’m looking for your Top Sexy Songs. As usual, we’re keeping things loose and flexible here so you can pick songs about sex, that just sound sexy or you think would make good music to do naughty things to. Whatever you’re into!

Here are my Top Five, leave your suggestions to be included in next weeks podcast

5. Hercules and The Love Affair, Hercules Theme (perfect disco porn!)

4. Art Brut, Jealous Guy. A song about trying to get it on when your other half just wants to sleep.

3. Belle & Sebastian, Step into my office. Best office based innuendo ever.

2. Death From Above 1979, Sexy Results

1. Marvin Gaye, Sexual Healing. The ultimate

  5. 1: apparently the Faith of our fathers monk based chants were popular in the gay community for a while as background music for epic bouts of man-love.

2: My good friend and his girlfriend make epic love to Sigur Ros Agaetis Byrjun

3: I think Lindstrom’s ‘Further into space” is pretty sexy.

4: Joe Dolan: Good lookin’ woman

5: The Benny Hill theme tune.

  6. Queen – Staying Power. The original version of this came from their shocking camp and terrible 1982 album “Hot Space.” The video is even worse, Freddie is basically mincing around in a policeman’s uniform while Brian May and the lads are looking extremely disinterested. There is a live version from the “Queen on Fire: Live at the Bowl” album in which the synth is replaced with Bri’s Red Special and its actually a great tune.

Queen – Get Down, Make Love. As opposed to above, the album version brings out all of Fred’s little moans – huhhhhh! From their last half-decent album, The Game in 1980. 1st Queen album with synths shock horror!

    Freddie Mercury – Foolin’ Around.

The White Stripes – Blue Orchid. That guitar riff penetrates straight through to your genitals!!!

CSS – Let’s Make Love (and listen to Death from Above). Yeah Tom your suggestion brought me to this – Oh I see its there already, and with good cause!

  8. 6. Tenacious D – Fuck Her Gently. (obviously.)
5.Barry White – Can’t Get Enough of Your Love, Babe. (no list like this can exist without the man, Barry White. hello!)
4.Carol King – Will You Still Love Me, Tomorrow?
    3.Daft Punk – Make Love.
2.Lou Reed – Walk on the Wild Side. (its sweet and charming and sexy but mellow, perfect for love makin’ with someone you care deeply for!)
1.Clarence Carter – Slip Away. (filled with such soul and blues–but about having an affair)

  9. firstly, Mother We Just Can’t Get Enough by New Radicals
mainly it makes me happy, it’s not a proper sexy song, all ‘get yer kit off!’ or anything, but it’s in the episode of scrubs when Dr Cox is trying to choose between pregnant ex and the attractive girlfriend… i’m babbling!

that’s all i can think of which is slightly disapointing…this is really difficult!
